Many thanks to Sean Ryan for allowing this to be shared here.  It's a clever scheme to use colour simply. Unlike other colour diagrams this enables the circuit layout to remain the priority over what can become a blinding array of colour blobs. If you've ever attempted to draw a colour diagram you'll know what I mean. The Main colours are as is, and any tracer colours have their initial on the wire. As you cant have white wires they're in Black. |

No problem Steve. White wires are actually shown as two thin black line outlining the white and the black wires are black. When I first drew it in a CAD package you work on a black screen so that when I pdf'd it I had them all the wrong way round! I can't guarantee it's 100% correct, if anyone spots errors, let me know. Since I drew that, the Land Rover Lightweight site has put up some superb wiring diagrams. the Lightweight is about 95% the same but he has individual circuit diagrams for the IR, hazards, 6 way switch etc that are very useful. www.land-rover-lightweight.co.uk/LRL%20M.html |
