Many thanks to Sean Ryan for allowing this to be shared here. It's a clever scheme to use colour simply. Unlike other colour diagrams this enables the circuit layout to remain the priority over what can become a blinding array of colour blobs. If you've ever attempted to draw a colour diagram you'll know what I mean. The Main colours are as is, and any tracer colours have their initial on the wire. As you cant have white wires they're in Black.

No problem Steve. White wires are actually shown as two thin black line outlining the white and the black wires are black. When I first drew it in a CAD package you work on a black screen so that when I pdf'd it I had them all the wrong way round! I can't guarantee it's 100% correct, if anyone spots errors, let me know. Since I drew that, the Land Rover Lightweight site has put up some superb wiring diagrams. the Lightweight is about 95% the same but he has individual circuit diagrams for the IR, hazards, 6 way switch etc that are very useful. www.land-rover-lightweight.co.uk/LRL%20M.html
